The Qatar Boat Show 2025 is being held at the Old Doha Port from 5 to 8 November 2025. As the second edition of this boat show, it is going to showcase some of the world’s most luxurious yachts and cutting-edge marine technology.
Earning a reputation for being one of the Middle East’s premier gatherings for the global yachting community, this event is all set to attract yacht builders, brokers, and enthusiasts from all over the world. The Old Dohal Porthas been redeveloped now. The beautiful blend of maritime heritage and modern waterfront architecture makes it a perfect backdrop for the Qatar Boat Show.
What can you expect at the event?
More than 100 yachts and superyachts are expected to be on display at the Qatar Boat Show 2025. This event will feature several global and regional yacht industry’s who’s who, including international shipyards, marine equipment manufacturers, and lifestyle brands. Besides some of the finest vessels, the show will also highlight innovative, eco-friendly solutions for the marine industry, such as sustainability, hybrid propulsion systems, and solar-powered solutions.
This boat show will showcase broader lifestyle statements, such as luxury brands in jewellery, fashion, real estate, and hospitality. Together with the marine industry, they will play their role in positioning Doha as an elite tourism destination for high-net-worth individuals.
Proof of Qatar’s growing stature as a yachting hub
The 2025 edition of Qatar Boat Show will take place under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar. It is believed that the event will promote economic diversification and tourism in the region. Its first edition in 2024 drew more than 23,000 visitors from over 90 countries. International participation has increased this year, and hence, it is expected that 2025’s Qatar Boat Show will have better figures to report.
Qatar has a coastline stretching over 700 kilometres and marinas. Quickly establishing itself as a regional yachting hub, the country is also investing heavily in maritime infrastructure and tourism facilities. The Old Doha Port alone has about 1,900 berths, including those that can accommodate superyachts up to 160 metres in length.
Boosting the country’s economy
Aligning closely with the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030, Qatar Boat Show hopes to give traction to non-oil sectors of, and promote the country as a global destination for culture, business, and leisure. Besides promoting tourism, it will also give a boost to local suppliers, service providers, and young entrepreneurs in the marine sector.
This four-day event is a must-visit for yachting enthusiasts who are looking forward to on-water experiences, luxury yachts, marine innovations, and high-value networking with the best people in the industry.
